    Hello Derek, I have three electricly lit palm trees using incandescent rope-lighting (green & amber) and I seriously would like to remove the 120vac rope and replace it with 12vdc rope of either LED or NEON/LED technology depending on power consumption, cost, UV degradation of the rope tube, available lengths, lumen output,
    etc. Could you Email me a note with the dope on your rope? Thanks, Bud Herod

    Do you have a floor application using the ultra thin product?
    Is there a housing required in the floor to install it and how would it be protected from foot traffic?


    If the floor was level with the Ultra-Thin it shouldn't cause any problems. This specific product is sensitive to over manipulation and movement. So if the traffic causes any movement in the light fixture it will short out over time.

    HOW MANY FEETS LONG CAN I USE THE LED NEON FLEX and how many batteries i need?
    do you have day ligth brigh color?

    Maria,

    It's not designed to run on batteries but you could use the 12V or 24V with car batteries.

    It's bright enough for daylight, but I would recommend keeping it off during the day and using the color jacket product to be able to see the color during the day.

    Answer: Yes, we sell samples for $35/ft for the Ultra-Thin assembled.

    The lowest voltage we have available is 12V which comes in Ultra-Thin only. To run this product on Double A batteries it would require 8 of them. You would not be able to run a very long length of the product.
